My name is Beth, but my friends and family call me Bee. From 2010 to 2014 I was a Board Member, Executive and helped to run an English Bulldog rescue. I also volunteered for numerous other all-breed and breed-specific rescues. While I loved what I was doing for the English Bulldogs, I recognized there are many breeds that need rescue. That's how Bee is for Bully was born.
Bee is for Bully is focused on those bully breeds that need someone to give them a second chance for the life they deserve; a life filled with love, proper care, and the respect they've earned.
If you would like to volunteer for Bee is for Bully, click on our above "Applications" button and complete the Volunteer Application. We would love your help. "It takes a village to rescue a bully." - Bee
Dog of the week
ELSIE is a very sweet girl that we are so happy found us. This poor girl has been suffering with Entropion* in both eyes which is very painful. She also has terrible teeth and will likely have to have a few extractions. Her mouth is also very painful and she has likely been suffering for most of her life. She will be having surgery this week which is why she is the Dog of the Week; we want everyone visiting to keep her in thier thoughts and prayers. Once she is fully recovered, she will be available for adoption. Go ahead... fill out an application!!.
* Entropion is an abnormality of the eyelids in which the eyelid "rolls" inward. This inward rolling often causes the hair on the surface of the eyelid to rub against the cornea (outer part of the eyeball) resulting in pain, corneal ulcers or corneal erosions. This corneal damage can also result in corneal scarring, that can interfere with vision. (VCA Animal Hospital)
